Junior Academy - R.O.G.Y.

R.O.G.Y is a comprehensive junior development program for all ages and abilities, utilizing modern teaching techniques that cater to the developing child’s ability and strength with smaller courts, rackets and pressurized balls.

Junior High Performance

Fast-paced clinic designed for the high school/USTA competitive player, focusing on skills, drills and match play.

Tennis Rules

Attire

Proper attire is required for all members, children, and guests. Women must wear tennis dresses, tennis skirts, tennis shorts and tennis tops. Men must wear collared shirts, appropriate tennis T-shirts and tennis shorts. Soft rubber soled tennis shoes are required. Cross trainers, basketball, or running shoes, etc. will not be permitted on the courts.

Those not in proper tennis attire will not be permitted on the courts.

Guests

All fees will be posted in the Tennis Pro Shop. Guests must be registered by name at the tennis pro shop. When court time is reserved, all names must be listed, including guests. No guest may play on more than two days during any month, and must be accompanied by the host. Please inform guests of proper attire.

Court procedures

Doubles games have preference over singles games. Players, who have not played at all, on any given day, have preference over those who have played.

Time allotment
Singles maximum of 60 minutes
Doubles maximum of 90 minutes

Reservations

Members are responsible for notifying the Tennis Shop in case of cancellation.

Monday through Friday:

Reservations may be made from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. - for all players.

Weekends and Holidays

Courts may be reserved except for the hours when Round Robins are held.

The Red Clay Courts will be available to reserve for singles/doubles 7:30-9:30 on Saturday and Sunday. The Har Tru Courts can also be reserved from 7:30 - 9:30 a.m.

Round Robins start Saturday/Sunday at 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. on the Har Tru courts and the Red Clay Courts.

**Round Robin open to members who are capable of playing on a team and have match experience. Any questions, please see the Director of Tennis, Ryan Horn.

Reservation requests may be made starting on Tuesday in advance of play for that week. All players for the court must be designated at the time the reservation is made. All players must play on the court that they have reserved. Reservations may be made in person or by phone at extension 229.

Juniors

Juniors, 16 and under, have priority on weekends and holidays after 3:00 p.m. on courts five and six. Juniors must make reservations for this court time. Juniors may play at any time when members and adult guests are not waiting for courts.

Adults who wish to play with their children on weekends and holidays may reserve court time after 3:00 p.m. Proper attire is required.

Tournaments/Camps/Special Event

Tournaments, camps & special events will be organized by Tennis Pro and will take precedence on court times.
