Ryan, a native of Johannesburg, South Africa, was a top 50 ranked junior and competed on the ITF Circuit in Africa and Europe. Ryan played National Club League in London while coaching at The Cumberland Lawn Tennis Club, and for the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA). More recently, he has coached at some of the finest clubs and academies in the USA, and was the Head Men’s and Women’s Coach for LaGrange College in Georgia.

Ryan was Associate Director for the John McEnroe Tennis Academy at Randall’s Island, before becoming the Head Tennis Professional at The Landings Club in Savannah, Georgia in 2013. He then returned to NY as the Director of Tennis at Sportime – Harbor Island before joining Bonnie Briar as our new Director of Tennis in January, 2018.

Asi, returning for his fourth season at BBCC, is a certified USPTA/PTR Teaching Professional since 2000. He played 4 years of Division 1 Tennis for Mount Saint Mary’s University.  After graduation, Asi worked at the  USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center with the High Performance Program designed for the top sectional and national ranked juniors in the Eastern Section. For 9 years, Asi was the Head Women’s Tennis Coach for Division 1, Long Island University.  While at L.I.U., Asi was a 4x NCAA NEC Coach of the Year, 2010 NCAA ITA Northeast Region Coach of the Year, and 2x NCAA NEC Tennis Champion. He led the Long Island University Blackbirds to two NCAA National berths in 2009 and 2010.

Geoff LoConte

New to the BBCC tennis staff is Geoff LoConte: USPTA, USPTR, PPR, APTA, a seasoned pro who has taught tennis and platform tennis for more than 12 years in both Fairfield and Westchester counties. Most recently, he was the Head Pro at Innis Arden Golf Club. Besides providing instruction, Geoff is also a serious competitor in both local and national tournaments. Geoff also plays competitive pickleball and enjoys spending time with his wife and their two daughters.

Victoria Giannaccini

Originally from São Paulo, Brazil, Victoria just recently graduated from the University of South Carolina-Aiken where she majored in Business. Victoria played 4 years of Division I tennis both singles and doubles and was selected in 2018 for the PBC All-Academic Team. She was also awarded the prestigious 2018/2019 Global Student Leadership Award. Returning for her 2nd summer, BBCC is happy to have this talented player and teacher back again.
